In this study, at a time when parental participation in the public education market is increasing, research related to parental participation in the private education market is very insufficient. Therefore, it began to explore the types of parental participation, centering on martial arts gym, one of the private education markets, focusing on the parents of child trainees. The research method was limited to taekwondo, kendo, Hapkido, and special martial arts. The study participants consisted of martial arts leaders in this research, and after in-depth analysis of the types of parents through repeated interviews from the perspective of leaders rather than from the perspective of parents, the results were shown in five types. The first type of the study was identified as a very ideal type of religious believer, and the second type was a watchman type, which turned out to be a type that felt uncomfortable depending on the situation and environment. The third type was interpreted as a type of interference and excessive interested in interference, and the fourth type of the fourth type was found as a very tired type of Janus type. Finally, the fifth type was the cuckoo type, which was formed based on blind belief, and could be organized into a type that trusted and entrusted to child trainees.
