This study was attempted to see the knowledge about the human death and the human attitude toward death, So that we might make use of this result for the terminal patients in providing a better effective nursing care.
256 College students, residing in Chejudo, answered to the Schnejdman questionaire, and their answer on the attitude toward death was investigated to understand the need, feeling, and problem of the terminal ill patients.
The following results were obtained.
1. It was general Concepts that death supervened naturally and by accidents, which couldn't controlled.
2. Psychiatuc factor was related to their attitude toward death closely (55.9%)
3. Many of them thought that proper efforts had to attended to all the serious case in consideration of the patients age, Physical and mental pain.
4. They didnt want to know the exact time generally (79.7%) but that in Case they had a irreversible disease, they wanted to know the fact (41.1%)
5. 60.2% of them were experienced in need to wish to die by reason of mental pain.
6. many of them wanted to bury under ground or burn to ashes after their death.
7. They were experienced in thinking of suicide (64.5%) and in fact they had the Possibility of suicide.
8. Supposing they were in irreversible Care, they would have a Conversation with their parents and their main topic would be a problem of human existence (52.3%) In their opinion, only 0. 4% of then would be fond of talking about disease.
