朝鮮朝 前期의 行政的 特徵 = The Specific Character of Public Administration in the First Term of Chosun Dynasty

Chosun dynasty was the nation which and was established on the coufucian government theory. The confucian government theory recognized the social class order, but it involvedr against the humanism of the confucianist who insisted that they have equal rights of all people in the original nature. So, the confucian government urged the ethical goodness strongly.
The people who lived in the Chosun dyn- asty had connections with the government policy making process within limit range, and the government tried to also, as well as possible, all political opinions of the people.
The king was placed formally on the top rank in the Chosun political and administrative system, but it was not an absolute monarchy. Chosun dynasty was controlled practically by the confacian officialdom.
The administrative system was devided into a structural formula and each unit of the administrative system was gifted with functional self-control rights.
The check and balance system was vividly practiced in the cho-sun dynasty administrative organization.
The confucian culture performed an aoffirmative role in the Chosun dynasty control process with the ethics for the people and the control theory of the confucian humanism, but it performed also a negative role in korean history and did not fit in with reality.
