      야담집 소재 신라 및 경주 이야기 연구-『天倪錄』, 『雜記古談』, 『東稗洛誦』을 중심으로 - = A study on Silla and Gyeongju story in Yadam collections - focused by 『Cheonyerok』, 『Jabgi-Godam』, 『Dongpaeraksong』

      Yadam(野談) was the best literary genre in the literary history of late Choseon dynasty. In this paper, I researched the Silla(新羅) and Gyeongju(慶州) story in Yadam collections. Especially there were focused by 『Cheonyerok(天倪錄)』written by Im Bang(任埅), 『Jabgi-godam(雜記古談)』written by Im Mae(任邁), 『Dongpaeraksong(東稗洛誦)』written by No myeong-heum(盧命欽). I selected six stories in this collections. For example, there were <Kimyousin(金庾信)> and <Maeng taoist[孟道人]> and <a foolish admiral[궤짝 提督]> on 『Cheonyerok』, <a medical witch[醫巫]> and <two sword women[女俠]> on 『Jabgi-godam』, <a beggar[乞客]> on 『Dongpaeraksong』 etc.
      Silla was the first ancient nation to unify three nations in Korean history, and Gyeongju was an ancient capital about thousand years in Silla dynasty. As a result of study, I knew that they had understanding about the Silla dynasty and Gyeongju people in the late of Choseon dynasty. The first, <Kimyousin> and <Maeng taoist> stories showed us unification of three nations and signs of decadence. Two stories contained all historical facts. The second, Silla Son officialdom appeared on <a medical witch>, Gyeongju sword man appeared on <two sword women>. I knew that Gyeongju was godlike person's living through two stories. The third, <a foolish admiral> and <a beggar> stories had two Gyeongju official dancing girls. They were very wise, so showed us her wit[機智] and discerning eye[知人之鑑]. I knew that they satirized on social conflict and against misgovernment through two stories. There were mixed literary fiction in this stories.
      In short, Silla and Gyeongju story in Yadam collections were harmonized with historical fact and literary fiction. Also there were people's historical mind and actual spirit in this stories.
