도시재생을 위한 문화전략모형의 적용방향 연구 = 부천시를 중심으로

Urban Regeneration became a major political topic in many Korean cities which are overspread and stagnant. It's necessary to take an integrated strategies, combining environmental, economic, physical, cultural and social aspects, to regenerate these stagnant cities. The strategies of cultural aspect among them play particularly an important role in an era of postindustrial society
Bucheon City which is located between Seoul and Incheon and has no intense identity, give attention to culture-led regeneration from the 1990s. This study gets started by exploring the concept and types of cultural Strategy model for urban regeneration; and then evaluates 6 major cultural projects that Bucheon City has adopted to regenerate itself in term of the type of cultural strategy model; and finally, proposes the application of cultural strategy model to support the culture-led regeneration. This study will be useful to cities which depend chiefly on the arrangement of their physical environment in the process of regeneration.
