The VOD service is to transmit and playback a great amount of video data in real time to multi-users so long, even though a high quality VOD server is installed and video data is transmitted through high speed network, high bandwidth of video data causes the overload of network. On account of such a reason the clients receive frames at irregular time intervals or damaged frames, then the clients can not get any frames at the worst. That kind of lasting problems cause the buffer overflow, and the frames being lost or the buffer being starved. In this paper, we proposed an algorithm to sore the video stream for VOD Service.
