This study aims to analyze the characteristics and techniques of the écriture painting method and to propose concrete art makeup designs by utilizing generative artificial intelligence technologies. Focusing on the works of the Spanish surrealist painter Joan Miró, the research examines his creative application of écriture, analyzing the symbolic formations, abstract compositions, and surreal color schemes that characterize his artistic language. These elements are then restructured into a visual language adaptable to makeup design. Methodologically, the study proceeds in three stages: first, analyzing Miró’s pictorial motifs and chromatic system; second, employing generative AI to explore a range of patterns and compositional ideas derived from these analyses; and third, conducting experimental simulations to produce design drafts, from which representative art makeup designs are proposed. The results demonstrate that generative AI not only reinterprets Miró’s artistic language but also reveals new possibilities for aesthetic design appropriate to the art of makeup. This convergence highlights the dialog between traditional aesthetics and advanced technologies. Ultimately, the study advances creative approaches in art makeup by integrating symbolic signs and abstract forms with digital art practices, thereby exploring novel possibilities for contemporary artistic production.
