대북지원 보건의료협력의 현안과 과제: 지난 10년의 성과 및 향후 개선방안을 중심으로 = Issues and Tasks of Cooperation on Public Health and Medical Support of North Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It has been 13 years since the Korean government and non-governmental organizations(NGOs) started aid to North Korea. One point to be noted regarding the aid is that the role of NOGs was expanded due to the specificity between the two Koreas. The problem is that such views on aid to the North does not discriminate aid by the government and that by NGOs. Problems with a fraction of organizations involved a certain area (general aid, agricultural recovery or healthcare) are often deemed to be prevalent in the entire aid NGOs. This paper intends to stress the importance of the need to aid North Korea in the area of healthcare by presenting the achievements and progress made in the last decade. It will also identify issues and challenges witnessed in the course of providing aid and come up with ways to address them. This article will seek more comprehensive aid schemes than those used before in the area of healthcare that can lead changes in the peninsular.
