한국·미국·일본 초등학교 미술교과서 비교 연구 - 표현 방법 및 재료와 용구를 중심으로 - = A Comparative-Analyzed Study on Art Textbooks for Elementary Students Among Korea, U.S.A. and Japan: Focused on how to express and use materials, tools, and techniques

국문 초록 (Abstract)

미술교육은 아동의 자아 표현을 촉진시키고, 창의성을 기를 수 있도록 체계적으로 구성되어야 한다. 특히 초등학교 시기는 미적 발달단계상 여러 단계를 거치는 시기이므로 아동의 발달적 특성에 대한 배려가 이루어져야 한다. 그 중에서도 표현에 있어서 방법 및 그에 따른 재료와 용구의 사용은 아이들의 감수성에 직접적인 영향을 끼치므로 적절하게 선택하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 한국, 미국, 일본 미술 교과서에 제시한 표현 방법 및 재료와 용구를 단계별(1·2, 3·4, 5·6)로 나누어 비교 분석하여 각 발달 단계에 적합한 표현 방법과 재료와 용구의 사용에 도움이 되고자 하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

All products and activities of children might be close connected with their own emotions and external factors. As a variety of artistic media have been developed, it has influenced and enriched with techniques and vehicles for self-expression of children: It thus could have children choose and use the more artistic materials, tools, and techniques in art makings. In light of those changes, this study aimed at first focusing on analyzing art texts among korea, U.S.A, and Japan through a view of comparative description, then searching for ways to improve the educational use and to develop the instructional methods in elementary levels. In conclusion, to help them express their own self and communicate with peers, people, community and the world, we should provide children with age-appropriate skills, materials, techniques and art textbooks needed in their all artistic activities, and also teach them by being founded on scientific-sequenced art curriculum.
