We are commomly used to the tungusten lamps for the general illumination and special lightings. But in recent year, the large size, plane light emitting area, LED lamp is utilizing instead of the tungusten lamps which are hardly possible in application for the opt-electronics, high dimensional display device and other the new numerous lighting field. An experimental study on this large size, plane light emitting area, type LED is intended here to analyze the characteristics, and research the illuminant applications, comparing to tungusten lamps and traditional type LEDs. This new lamps are now in the limelight owing to the expectation that they will not only replace conventional tungsten lamps for industrial control system, but also general illminations, in future.
