For Sm1-xSrxFe3+1-tFe4+tO3-y perovskite system, the samples having the compositions of x=0.00(1-A), 0.20(2-A), and 0.40(3-A) were synthesized at 1523K under atmospheric air pressure. All the prepared samples were heat-treated in 1. air, 2. O2 and 3. N2 at 1073K for 1h to control their properties such as conductivities and oxygen contents. By X-ray powder diffraction analysis, it was found that all the solid solutions have orthorhombic symmetries and related unit cell constants were calculated. Unit cell volumes were increased with increase of Sr content. Conductivity of 1-A was not able to be measured(insulator) probably because there was no Fe4+ content. 2-A and 3-A, however, showed considerable conductivity values in the whole temperature range of 283K~873K and conductivities of the two samples were varied within semi-conductivity range.
