중학교 초임 체육교사의 초기 곤란에 관한 연구 = A Case Study of Middle School Physical Education Teacher's Difficulties in His First Year Teaching

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 중학교로 첫 발령을 받은 한 초임체육교사가 교직에서 겪는 어려움과 그 어려움의 원인이 무엇인지를 이해하려는 사례연구로, 연구대상자가 현장에서 겪는 어려움을 파악하기 위해서 내부자적 관점을 유지하기 위한 연구방법으로 문화기술법을 사용하였다. 이를 위해 수업관찰, 심층면담, 각종 문서자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 연구대상자가 현장에서 겪는 어려움은 동료교사와의 갈등으로 인해 겪는 수업에서의 문제와 자신이 갖고 있던 신념과 지식, 태도의 실제 적용에 있어서의 괴리로 인한 어려움 그리고 교과지도 외에도 학급경영, 교무분장, 인간관계 등으로 인한 막중한 부담 등이 초기 교직 수행에 있어서 겪는 어려움으로 나타났다. 이러한 어려움들 속에서 그는 좌절과 충격을 경험하며 힘겹게 홀로서기를 배우고 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is an attempt to investigate difficulties that first-year physical education teacher suffer from adjusting their job and workplace. To acheive that purpose, I made use of ethnographic method as research method for understanding participant`s inner world. I collected data through depth interview, class observation and documents. Major fording can be summarized as the follows: difficulties concerned subject matter were determining of contents and instruction process. Sub categories of determining contents were conference(discussion)process with colleague, insufficient textbook and insufficient space, equipment, facilities. Sub categories of instruction process were organization and presentation of content, offering feedback control of students and interaction with students. Class managemant, another job and relationship between members influenced his preparation of instruction.
