학습동기, 학습의지와 몰입감 통합모형의 탐색 = An Investigation into the Integrative Model of Learning Motivation, Conation, and Flow

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학습동기의 과정을 보다 심층적으로 이해하기 위하여 학습동기와 함께 학습의지와 몰입감을 통합한 가설적인 통합모형을 탐색하였다. 구안된 통합모형에 의하면 인지적, 정서적 특성을 기반으로 前의사결정과정인 학습동기가 형성되면서 자율 동기가 기저에 작용하고 다음으로 後의사결정과정인 학습의지가 이루어진다. 또한 학습동기와 학습의지의 과정이 적절하게 이루어지면 학습과제에 대해 흥미와 즐거움을 느끼며 학습자체에 완전히 매료되는 몰입감이나 내발적 동기가 생기지만, 그렇지 않을 경우에는 불안이나 권태가 생긴다. 한편 교사는 몰입감을 경험하는 학습자에게 조력과 안내를, 불안이나 권태를 느끼는 학습자에게는 외발적 동기유발을 주어야 한다.
학습에 대한 몰입감의 중요성과 이를 증진시키기 위한 몇가지 방안들을 마지막으로 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigated a hypothetical integrative model of learning motivation, conation, and flow in order to understand the process of learning motivation in more depth. The proposed model postulated that the pre-decisional learning motivation, under the effects of cognitive and affective characteristics, might be formed along with the underlying process of autonomous motivation, followed by the post-decisional conation process. It was also postulated that the flow or intrinsic motivation might be created when the learning motivation and conation were properly processed. Anxiety or boredom might exist when they were processed in improper ways, however. Teachers might be helpers or assistants for students experiencing the flow, while they should give extrinsic motivation to students experiencing anxiety or boredom. Importance of the flow when studying and some strategies to foster it were finally discussed.
