自己情報統制權에 관한 考察

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Being absented express constitutional text. the Right to Control the Personal Information. considered as one of the most significant fun -damental rights in the modem information socwty. is guaranteed Implicitly as a content of constitutional privacy right in the major member states of GECD In Korea. the Right to Control the Personal Information is guaranteed by the digmty and value of a man and the right to pursue happiness of Article 10 and privacy right of Article 17 of the Constitution In order to protect the Right to Control the Personal Information in Korea.
l1ke the major member states of GECD. data protection system has been adopted m public sectors since 1994 and in private sectors since 1999 m order to protect the Right to Control the Personal Information.
But the function of data protection system hasn't been fully exercised in Korea because it doesn't reflect the international principles of personal information protection To make data subject's right pratical in Korea. it is
necessary to establish a general law prescribing the major contents of personal information protection both in public sectors and m private sectors
