월터 크레인 그림책 일러스트레이션의 장식 표현을 응용한 네일 디자인 = Nail Design Used Decorative Expressions from Walter Crane Picture Book Illustration

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Various forms of transformation and creative development of design on the expression of differentiated beauty of nail management continue in modern times. With these developments, efforts have been made to find designs and motifs in various art historians. Among the design motifs, Walter Crane’s picture book illustration has delicate and attractive motifs based on various Arnubo styles, making it a highly useful element as a delicate design element of nail art. The decorative features shown in detailed and meticulous Walter Crane’s picture book illustration are expressed using nature-based flower forms, stems, organic animals and plants, similar to the Arnubo form, while decoration gives new value to straight lines, curves, proportion and lettering. The feminine and organic forms of motifs and repeated patterns in the costumes in the illustration of Walter Crain are characterized by complex yet decorative features. These decorative features were transformed into concise designs that were incorporated into nails and the decorative elements shown in objects in space were expressed in refined yet luxurious images with the harmony of straight lines and curves.
