컴팩트 다양체의 접다발의 프레밍으로부터 생기는 가우스 사상에 관하여 : On the Gauss map coming from a framing of the tangent bundle of a compact manifold

국문 초록 (Abstract)

(n+1)차원 유클리드 공간에 있는 초곡면위의 가우스 사상은 compact이고 parallelizable한 다양체의 경계 위의 가우스 사상으로 일반화된다.
일반화된 가우스 사상의 차수를 고찰하고, n이 짝수일 때 그것은 그 경계의 오일러-포앙카레 수의 절반이라는 사실을 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Gauss map on a hypersurface in a Euclidean (n+1)-space has been generalized to one on a boundary of a compact parallelizable (n+1)-manifold.
We investigate the degree of the generalized Gauss map and conclude that it is half of the Euler-Poincare number of the boundary when n is even.
