세계 정보화분포에 관한 실증분석 및 이론적 설명 = An Empirical Study on the World Dynamic Distribution of Information Intensivity and a Theoretical Explanation

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문의 연구목적은 비 모수적 방법론을 이용하여 1995년부터 2001년까지 세계 정보화정도를 동태적 관점에서 실층분석하는 데 있다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 다음과 같이 요약된다. 첫째, 절대적인 관점에서 볼 때, 세계 정보화분포는 1995년보다는 2001년에 크게 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 반면 각 나라를 상대적인 정보화 수준으로 볼때, 2001년도 정보화분포의 형태는 1995년도에비하여 유사한 모양을 나타내고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 세계 정보호분포는 높은 수준의 정보화 집단과 낮은 수준의 정보화 집단으로 양극화 되는 현상이 보였으며, 시간이 지남에 따라 낮은 정보화집단에 속한 나라가 정보화 수준의 향상가능성을 나타내는 전이확률이 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과의 자의성을 배제하기 위하여 본 연구에서 사용한 Optimal Bandwidth 선택방법(Crossvalidation)을 사용하여 두 방법에 의한 결과가 유사함을 보였다. 결론적으로 볼 때, 본 연구 분석결과는 정보화 발전단계도 경제발전단계와 유사한 정보화 빈곤함정(Underdevelopment Trap or Poverty Trap)이 발견되고 있다는 사실을 시사한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 본 연구에서는 상기의 실층분석결과를 뒷받침하는 실험적이고, 간단한 정보화 단계모형을 제시하였다.

This paper is to investigate the world dynamic dynamic distribution of informationization using nonparametric approaches. Our finding resultings are:(ⅰ) from the absolute point of view, the world distribution of information information intensivity in 2001 shifts from low level and a little higher level than that of informationization in 1995. (ⅱ) from the relative point of view, the shapes of world distribution of information intensivity 1995 and 2001 are, however, very between similar to each other. finally, as we find the similarity between the distribution of information intensiviry and the distribution of information intensivity between the distribution of information intensivity and the distribution of income, there is a poverty trap in informationization such as underdevelopment trap or poverty rrap in economic development stage. We conduct a robustness test cased on the different bandwidth selection criterion(CV) and find simikar empirical results. In addition to empirical tests, we show a tentative theoretical model for supporting our empirical results.
