    This study overviews the characteristics of university speech texts as a liberal education course that has been published recently. They concentrated on presentation and debate because the public speaking was the focus of their goal. It reflects the actual needs of public speaking in university education. The problem is the way how to practice speeches. It`s efficient to practice presentation, but not debate in contents of these texts. It`s important to listen to opposite opinions carefully to refute. It`s not sufficient to prepare the outline, expectation question, debate strategy. In this case students used to repeat their insistence. In order to solve this problem, this study proposes the way of educational drama. Educational drama means using drama for educational purpose. It can be applied for students of all age even though it is mostly used in elementary students. In debate TiR, Forum Theatre, Hot Seating help student to involve the key point of the event. Then students express their own voices on the basis of understanding the situation. The good point of this method is understanding the relations. Logical thinking is important to perform public speaking. But emotional approach helps the logical thinking.
