동적 관점에서의 시제 연구 = Research on Tense in a Dynamic Perspective

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Language is a dynamic system which emerges from self-organization, and in this respect a tense system is no exception. This means that a research on a tense system should take a dynamic perspective. As we know, almost all grammatical morphemes which are related to expressing temporal meanings in Korean have experienced various changes, and some grammatical morphemes still show non-coherent usages. This paper argues, first, we could not assume that a tense system is static, nor that all speakers of Korean have the same tense rules, second, a research on a tense system should be conducted considering various interactions of related elements from a dynamic perspective, third, researches on variation, diachronic change, and acquisition of a tense system will help us understand the characteristics of the tense system.
