‘밖에’의 의미와 형태 = 문법화 현상을 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the sematic and morphological characteristics of ‘Bakke’. ‘Bakke’ which exhibits the negative meaning exclusively is a quasi-NPI(Negative Polarity Item) which is different from other NPIs. ‘Bakke’ are classified into ‘Bakke’ in NP and ‘Bakke’ in Predicates which were not noticed in the previous study. In the viewpoint of grammaticalization, the semantic change and grammatical status of these ‘Bakke’ are followed as:
(1) ‘Bakke’ in NP
semantic extension : concrete space ＞ abstract space ＞ exclusion ＞ emphasis(only)
grammatical status : noun ＞ postposition ＞ particles
(2) ‘Bakke’ in Predicates
semantic extension : emphasis(only) ＞ possibility(negative)
grammatical status : particles ＞ modality ending
