성인예방접종의 최신 권고안 = Recent Update in Adult Immunization

Department of Family Medicine, Inje University Haeundae Paik Hospital, Busan, Korea Immunization is the most effective and cost-beneficial means to prevent infectious diseases in adults as well as in children.
However, adult immunization has been beyond the center of attention relatively to children’s immunization in Korea.
Since the Korean Academy of Family Medicine had published “Vaccination for Adults” in 1994, a recent update was done in this field by the Korean Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Korean Society of Infectious Diseases. This paper reviews standard immunization for healthy persons and supplementary immunization for persons with underlying diseases based on those recent recommendations. General information, indications, dosage, route of administration,efficacy and safety were reviewed for vaccination of influenza, pneumococcal infection, tetanus, hepatitis A, hepatitis B,human papilloma virus, varicella and measles/mumps/rubella.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

예방접종은 소아 및 성인에서 전염병을 예방하는데 가장 효과적이고 비용-편익적인 수단이다. 그러나 국내에서 성인 예방접종은 소아에 대한 접종에 비해 상대적으로 주목을 받지못하였다. 1994년 대한가정의학회에서 “성인예방접종”이 발간된 후 최근 질병관리본부-대한의사협회(2006) 및 대한감염학회(2007)에서 최근 경향과 국내의 감염질환 실태, 예방접종 현황을 감안하여 성인예방접종 권고안을 발표하였다. 이글에서는 국내외 최신 예방접종 권고안을 중심으로 우리나라 성인에게 필요한 예방접종의 일반적인 특성, 접종대상, 용량 및 접종방법, 효능 및 안정성을 기술하였다. 구체적으로 인플루엔자, 폐렴사슬알균 감염, 파상풍 · 디프테리아, A형간염,B형간염, 사람유두종바이러스, 수두, 홍역 · 유행성이하선염 ·풍진에 대한 내용이 다루어졌다.
