정명가도(征明假道) 명분으로 임진왜란에 참전한 적장 와키자카 야스하루(脇坂安治) 캐릭터의 성격 변화 연구 -영화 한산과 명량을 중심으로- = A Study on the Personality Changes of Wakizaka Yasuharu, an Enemy General who Participated in Imjin War because Japanese asked for Help -Focusing on Hansan: Rising Dragon and ROARING CURRENTS-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 같은 역사적 사건이라 하더라도 상대국 입장에서는 전혀 다른 의도와 평가가 존재할 수 있다는 가설 아래 디자이너 관점에서 영화 속 일본 적장 와키자카 야스하루 캐릭터의 성격 변화에 대해 규명하고자 하는 시도였다. 연구 과정은 먼저 임진왜란 발발의 근원에 있는 도요토미 히데요시와 정명가도 그리고 임진왜란에 대해 고찰한 후 와키자카가 참전한 용인전투와 한산대첩 그리고 칠천량해전과 명량대첩에 대하여 일본 관점에서 알아 보았다. 그 연구를 바탕으로 행위소 모형에 와키자카를 주동자로 대입하여 같은 발신자라 하더라도 각 요소들은 연배와 경험에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는지 밝힌 후 인물지 영웅론을 기저로 와키자카의 함의와 신화를 추출하였다. 요약하자면 와키자카는 40세에는 자신의 능력에 비해 너무 큰 대승을 거두었기에 기고만장하였고 자신을 과신하였다가 한산대첩에서 이순신장군에게 대패한 후 45세에 다시 만난 명량대첩에서는 이제 더 이상 경거망동하지 않고 생존만이 목표인 신중한 다이묘로 변모하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was an attempt to analyze the personality change of Wakizaka Yasuharu, a Japanese general in the movie, from the designer's point of view, under the hypothesis that even the same historical event can have completely different intentions and evaluations from the point of view of the other country. The research process first studied Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the Imjin War, which were at the core of the outbreak of the Imjin War, and then looked into the Yongin War, the Hansan War, and the Chilcheonryang War and the Myeongnyang War, in which Wakizaka participated, from the Japanese point of view. Based on the research, Wakizaka was substituted as the instigator in the Modele Actantial, and after clarifying how each element differs according to age and experience even if it is the same sender, the meaning and myth of Wakizaka were extracted based on the heroism of personage. In summary, at the age of 40, Wakizaka won a victory that was too great for his ability, so he was arrogant and overconfident. After losing a great deal in the Hansan War, he was very careful in the Myeongnyang War at the age of 45, and took a prudent position with only survival as the goal.
