대인관계 중심의 성격특성과 성격유형과의 상관관계 연구 = A Study on the Correlations Between Personality Traits Centering on Interpersonal Relationships and Personality Typologies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

대인관계 중심의 성격특성과 성격유형과의 관계를 연구하기 위해, LCSI(Lim’s Character Style Inventory) 성격검사와 MBTI(Myers Briggs Type Indicator)간의 상관연구를 진행하였다. LCSI검사는 유형론과 특성론의 장점을 고루 갖춘 검사이고, MBTI는 유형론의 대표적인 검사이다. 두 검사의 상관연구는 LCSI 검사의 타당화 연구의 중요한 자료가 될 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결론은 LCSI의 ‘도전성’은 MBTI의 ‘사고(T)’와 관련성이 높다는 것이다. LCSI의 ‘사교성’은 MBTI의 ‘외향(E)-감정(F)’과 관련성이 높지만, ‘직관(N)-인식(P)’과도 어느정도의 관련성을 가지고 있다. LCSI의 ‘수용성’은 MBTI의 ‘내향(I)-감정(F)’과 관련성이 높다. LCSI의 ‘신중성’은 MBTI의 ‘판단(J)’와 관련성이 높으나, ‘사고(T)’도 어느 정도의 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. LCSI의 ‘안정성’이 MBTI의 다른 요인과 아무런 관계가 없는 독자적인 요인임이 밝혀졌다. 즉, ‘안정성’이 스트레스 상황에서의 적응력이라고 할 때, MBTI가 다루지 않는 부분을 측정하고 있음을 검증한 것이다. 이같은 결과를 토대로 검토해볼 때, LCSI와 MBTI는 상호관련성이 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

A correlation study was proceeded with LCSI (Lim's Character Style Inventory) and MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) to research relations between personality traits centering on interpersonal relationships and personality typologies. LCSI has equipped with merits of Trait theories as well as Typologies and MBTI is the representative tool of Typologies. The study of correlations between those two inventory tools would be significant source for validation of LCSI. The results of this study are as follows : ‘Challenging' factor of LCSI has high relations to ‘Thinking' factor of MBTI. ‘Sociability' of LCSI shows high relations to ‘Extrovert-Feeling' and somewhat to ‘iNtuition-Perception' of MBTI. ‘Acceptability' of LCSI has high relations to ‘Introvert-Feeling' of MBTI. ‘Prudence' of LCSI shows high relations to ‘Judgement' but somewhat to ‘Thinking' of MBTI. ‘Stability' of LCSI has no relations to any of MBTI and has been found as an independent factor. That is, supposing that ‘Stability' is an adaptability in stressful situation, it proved that LCSI measures a novel part that MBTI does not deal with. With all above results, LCSI and MBTI has correlations to each other.
