This study attempts to investigate the effects of different types of electronic interactions on teaching English composition. To examine the effects, a survey was conducted with students who enrolled in English composition classes at a university in Seoul. The comparison of the effects between the e-mail exchange and the Internet discussion was done. Implications for the future English composition teaching in college settings are discussed.
