심미적 감성 역량 증진을 위한 IB PYP 프레임워크 교수·학습 사례 = IB PYP Framework Teaching and Learning case to improve aesthetic sensibility

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 사례연구의 목적은 015 개정 국가 교육과갱이 강조하는 심미적 감성 역량 증진을 위해 IB PYP 프레임워크를 활용한 수업 방안을 개발하는 데 있다. 연구 문제를 해결하기 위하여 2학년 통합 교육과정의 ‘나라’ 영역의 교수·학습 내용을 ‘문화의 다양성’을 주제로 교육과정을 재구성하여 학생들의 반응을 관찰했다. 수업 개발 및 학생 관찰을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, IB PYP 프레임워크에서 강조하는 학생의 자율성을 극대화한 수업을 통해 학생들이 미적, 문화적 감수성을 기르는 데 쉽게 접근할 수 있었다. 둘째, 이러한 수업을 운영하는 데 우리나라 교육과정에 한계가 있다. 이상의 연구 결과를 볼 때, 심미적 감성 역량 증진에 있어 IB PYP 프레임워크를 적용할 가치가 있으며 이를 위해 다양한 측면에서의 지원이 필요하다는 결론을 얻었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this case study is to develop a teaching plan using the IB PYP framework to improve aesthetic emotional capabilities emphasized by the 2015 revised national curriculum. In order to solve the research problem, the curriculum was reorganized under the theme of “cultural diversity” to observe the responses of students in the “country” area of the second-grade curriculum. The results obtained through class development and student observation are as follows. First, students could easily approach developing aesthetic and cultural sensitivity through classes that maximized student autonomy emphasized in the IB PYP framework. Second, there is a limit to the Korean curriculum in operating these classes. Looking at the above research results, it was concluded that the IB PYP framework is worth applying to enhance aesthetic emotional capabilities, and support from various aspects is needed for this.
