연구의 목적 및 내용
○오미약성(五味藥性)이론을 이용한 글로벌 한방 화장품 소재 개발 및 제품화
○한의학이론과 피부과학이론 연구를 통한 한방화장품 이론의 정립
○개별 약물과 복합약물 추출에 따른 효능 및 성분변화 연구를 통한 한의학 추출 우수성확인
○오미약성 이론인 고미, 신미, 감미, 함미, 산미에 따른 피부한방학적 처방구성 및 평가
○한국에서 재배가 사라진 한약재에 대한 효능 연구 및 복원화
○글로벌 시장 진입 가능한 미백기능성 인증
○시제품의 상품화 및 사업화
연구개발성과
○ 1단계 1차년도: 문헌연구를 통한 화장품 영역에서의 오미약성 이론 정립 및 항염&피부장벽 처방구성
- 전통의학서 (동의보감, 본초강목) 등의 한의서적과 피부 면역과 같은 피부학적 효능 관계연구와 약재 20종 선정
- 선정된 약재의 오미약성 분류에 따른 항염&피부장벽 처방단 구성
- 오미약성 중 고미, 신미, 감미, 산미, 함미의 약물학적 phytochemical을 확인
- HPLC를 통한 성분 profiling 및 피부과학적 효능 스크리닝
○ 1단계 2차년도 : 1차년도에 선정된 처방단의 한의학이론을 근거로 한 피부과학적 해석
- 복방추출에서 새로이 생성된 물질은 ferulic acid임을 동정하였고 항산화 효능의 주요 물질임을 확인함
- 한의학적 이론에서 면역에 대한 현대과학적 해석으로 FACS를 이용한 CD40, CD80의 발현을 통해 면역력이 증가함을 확인
- 항염&피부장벽 처방단의 인체적용시험을 통해 안전성을 확립하였으며, 탄력, 보습, 피부치밀도의 통계적으로 유의한 효과를 확인하였으며 복방처방이 단일추출물보다 우수함을 확인함
○2단계 1차년도 : 오미약성 이론을 바탕으로 피부 보습 처방단 구성 및 복원화 약재의 효능 확인
- 1차년도 연구결과를 통해 오미약성 이론을 기반한 보습단 처방을 구성
- 보습단의 HAS, HYAL 발현 효능을 확인 및 HPLC를 이용한 성분 profiling 구축
- 복원화 약재로써 백화사설초, 유기노, 택란, 반변련 선정
- 복원화 약재의 항산화, 주름, 미백 효능을 확인
○ 2단계 2차년도 : 오미약성이론을 기반으로 미백처방단 구성을 통한 안전성 및 유효성 입증
- 오미약성이론을 기반으로 미백단 처방단 구성 및 성분 profiling을 통한 단, 복방 성분변화 확인
- 미백단의 인체적용시험 결과 피부 안전성, 자외선에 의한 피부 붉은기 완화 효과가 있음
- 복원화 약재를 포함한 주름단 구성 및 성분 profiling을 통한 단, 복방 성분 변화 확인
- 주름단의 인체적용시험 결과 피부 안전성, 눈가주름, 탄력의 효과가 있음을 확인함.
- 주름단의 단, 복방 효능차이와 추출물에서의 HPLC를 이용한 성분 차이를 확인함
- 골담초추출물의 MFDS 미백기능성 개별고시 인증을 획득함
연구개발성과의 활용계획(기대효과)
○ 한의학적 이론과 피부 활성효과의 연구의 상관성을 통해 한방화장품의 이론을 정립하였고, 항산화, 면역, 피부재생에서 보다 우수한 효능을 확인하였음.
○한방 화장품의 피부과학적 우성성 입증을 통해 국내 및 해외 완제품 회사에 소개 및 사업화 지속
○보다 안전하고 효능 있는 한방화장품으로의 인식 변화와 이로 인해 국내 및 해외마케팅에 이용
○골담초추출물의 MFDS 미백기능성 개별고시 인증을 통한 국,내외 마케팅 활용
○결과에 다르면, 복원화 가능한 소재는 국내 천연자원으로의 좋은 후보가 될 것임

○We confirmed that Hanhang herbs bleding extraction method is more efficacy than single extraction though studies about their efficacy test and changed compounds

○Selection of Hanbang herbs which is no longer cultivated and their investigate about skin pharmacological effects
○The certification of Korea whitening functional cosmetic by MFDS for global marketing
○The commercialization and development of cosmetics and hangbang ingredients
Results
○ Stage 1, first year: Establishment of OMiYakSung (五味藥性) theory through the Hanbang medicine literature studies in cosmetic fileds and development of anti inflammatory and skin barrier herbs prescription.
- We studied a lot of traditional books (Donguibogam and Bonchogangmok) on the relationship between OMiYakSung (五味藥性) theory and skin pharmacological effects based on immune enhancement and selection of hanbang herbs (20 herbs)
- Make hanbang herbs prescription of anti inflammation and skin barrier efficacy by selected 20 hanbang herbs
- The investigation of hanbang herbs phytochemicals which have bitter, sour, sweetness, salty and sour taste by OMiYakSung (五味藥性) theory
- HPLC phytochemical profiling and efficacy studies about dermatological fuction
○Stage 1, Second year: The prescription which select combination of Hanbang herb extracts from the first year studies is proved the relationship between hanbang efficacy and skin pharmacological effects
- We identified ferulic acid as increased compound of blending extraction which a key compound with anti-oxidant
- The immune enhancement effects in the Hanbang medicine theory fields were proved by expression of CD40, CD80 in bone marrow-derived dendrite cells (BMDCs) to modern dermatological theory
- The human testing, th in vivo elasticity, moisturizing and density of blending inflammation herbs prescription showed a significant effect compared to that single herbs extraction group and there was no problem with skin safety

- Make prescription of Hanbang herbs about skin whitening based on OMiYakSung (五味藥性) and studies about ingredients changes by single and blending herbs extraction method
- The skin whitening Hanbang herbs prescription have effects about skin redness decrease and there was no problem about skin safety by clinical test

Contribution
○ Establishment of Hanbang Cosmetics theory on the relationship between the study hanbang medicine books and skin pharmacological effects and then enhanced effects on anti-oxidants activity, reinforcement of immune system and skin regeneration.
○ We can introduce and marketing about Hanbang cosmetics and ingredients at local and global cosmetic company because the hanbang herbs presription have enhanced effects than single herbs.
○ We will change thoughts about Korea Hanbang cosmetics about more safey and efficay and then are going to promote at local and global market
○ The Caragana sinica extracts were certificated a Korea whitening functional cosmetic by MFDS for global market
○ As a results, herbs which can recultivate in korea have a good candidate about domestic natural resources
