      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      When a strip that has a circular hole in the middle of the plate will be to get axial forces, the plate gets very harmful effect, because a considerable stress concentration is developed at the ends of the diameter perpendicular to the direction of the axial forces.
      So, in such a case, it is desirable to avoid the stress concentration. For such a purpose, a strip that has a rectangular hole of rounded corners instead of circular one was considered, and variety of the stress concentration factor was investigated in detail in this paper. Photoelastic analysis and finite element method were adopted. Finially it was seen that the stress concentration factor is weakend more or less.
