예비 한국어 교사의 생성형 AI 활용 역량 개발을 위한 교육 내용 설계 연구- 예비 한국어 교사의 요구 및 인식 조사를 바탕으로 - = Designing Generative AI-Integrated Coursework for Pre-service Korean Language Teacher Education: Findings from a Needs and Perceptions Survey

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 예비 한국어 교사의 생성형 AI 활용 역량을 강화하기 위한 한국어교육 전공 교육 내용을 설계하고, 이에 대한 예비 교사의 교육적 요구와 인식을 실증적으로 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 최근 ChatGPT 등 대규모 언어모델 기반의 생성형 AI가 교육 현장에서 주목받고 있으나, 한국어교육에서는 실제 적용 사례나 교육과정 내 통합이 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 연구 참여자 40명을 대상으로 생성형 AI 활용 교육에 대한 요구 및 인식 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 예비 교사들은 생성형 AI의 수업 설계 및 교수 역량 확장 가능성에 대해 높은 기대를 보였으며 기술 교육보다는 실천적 적용 역량 함양에 대한 요구가 두드러졌다. 특히 AI 도구의 효과적 활용과 더불어 오류 대응, 윤리 교육 등 교사 책임성에 관한 항목에서도 높은 관심을 나타냈다. 이러한 조사 결과에 따라 생성형 AI의 교육적 가능성과 쟁점을 반영한 교육 내용을 설계하고 예비 교사들이 실제 교육 현장에서 필요로 하는 역량을 중심으로 개념 이해, 도구 활용, 교육과정 재구성, 개별화 교수 설계, 평가 및 피드백 설계, 윤리적 판단 등의 내용을 포함하여 한국어교육 전공 교육 내용을 설계하였다. 본 연구는 생성형 AI의 도입을 단순 기술 수용이 아닌 언어교육학적 실천으로 접근해야 한다는 관점을 바탕으로 예비 한국어 교사 양성 과정에서의 체계적 AI 교육의 방향성을 제시하는 데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to design coursework in Korean language education that strengthens pre-service Korean language teachers’ competencies in using generative AI, and to empirically analyze their educational needs and perceptions regarding such training. Although large language model-based generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) have recently drawn considerable attention in educational settings, practical applications and systematic curricular integration remain limited in Korean language education. To address this gap, a survey on needs and perceptions toward generative AI-integrated teacher education was administered to 40 participants. The results showed that pre-service teachers held high expectations for generative AI in enhancing lesson design and expanding pedagogical competencies, while expressing stronger needs for practice-oriented implementation skills than for technology-centered instruction. In particular, they demonstrated substantial interest not only in effective tool use but also in teacher responsibility issues such as managing AI-generated errors and providing ethics education. Based on these findings, this study developed instructional content that reflects both the educational potential and critical concerns of generative AI, focusing on competencies required in real classrooms. The designed coursework includes conceptual understanding, tool use, curriculum reconstruction, individualized instructional design, assessment and feedback design, and ethical judgment. This study is significant in that it frames the adoption of generative AI not as mere technical acceptance but as pedagogical practice in language education in language education, and it proposes directions for systematic AI education within pre-service Korean language teacher preparation programs.
