대학생의 부모 애착과 낭만 애착: 또래 애착의 매개효과 검증 = Parent Attachment and Romantic Attachment among College Students: The Mediating Effects of Peer Attachment

The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the parent attachment and romantic attachment on peer attachment. A sample of 140 college students participated in this study, and the revised version of Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment(IPPA-R) and Relational Style Questionnaire(RSQ) measurement were used. The data were analyzed using multiple regression and the Sobel Test. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, alienation from the parents was the variable that affected on the romantic attachment of the students. Thus, students who feel alienated from their parents had lower levels of(or insecure) romantic attachment. Second, peer attachment completely mediates between parent attachment and romantic attachment. In other words, secure parents' attachment enhanced peer attachment which in turn had the mediation effects of securing the level of romantic attachment. The suggestions, implications and recommendations for future research were also discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 부모 애착이 낭만 애착에 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고, 또래 애착이 부모 애착과 낭만 애착의 관계를 매개하는지를 알아보는 데 있다. 연구를 위해 총 140명의 대학생을 대상으로 IPPA-R과 RSQ를 설문조사하였으며 분석을 위해 중다회귀분석과 Sobel Test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 부모 애착의 세 가지 하위영역 중 소외감만이 대학생의 낭만 애착에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 발견되었다. 즉, 부모에게서 소외감을 느끼는 대학생들은 불안정한 낭만 애착을 형성하게 된다. 또한 또래 애착은 부모 애착과 낭만 애착간의 관계에 있어서 완전매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 부모와 안정된 애착관계를 가지고 있는 대학생은 또래와 안정적인 애착을 형성하는 데 영향을 미치며, 안정적인 또래와의 관계는 안정된 낭만 애착을 향상시키는 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언도 논의 되었다.
