다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

Recently, the structural safety and living conditions of aged apartment buildings (those built more than 20 years ago) have become a growing social concern in Korea. To address these issues, remodeling and reconstruction are the two primary approaches, with a growing emphasis on eco-friendly remodeling as the preferred option. In the early design phase of a remodeling project, multiple floor plan drafts are typically created and revised several times before arriving at the final design.
Accordingly, this study set out to develop a program that can provide rapid estimation of demolition quantity during this stage, thereby reducing both the time and manpower required to finalize the design. The developed program was applied to perform demolition quantity estimation on an existing apartment complex in Korea. To assess its usability and reliability, the evaluation outcomes were compared with those obtained from the real design projects, including commercial software results. Although the results differed by less than 5%, the computational time showed a substantial contrast - approximately 5 minutes with the developed program compared to 4-8 hours per project using conventional process and software. These findings demonstrate that the proposed program can serve as a practical and efficient tool during the initial design stage of remodeling projects, significantly reducing time, labor, and cost in the overall decision-making process.
