청년의 물질적 박탈감이 주관적 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 사회적 지지의 조절효과 = The Effects of Material Deprivation on Subjective Mental Health of Youth: Moderating Effects of Social Support

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청년의 물질적 박탈감이 주관적 정신건강에 미치는 영향과 이들 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 살펴볼 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 ‘2021 청년 사회·경제 실태조사’에 참여한 청년 2,041명의 응답데이터를 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 조절효과 모형에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 청년의 물질적 박탈감이 주관적 정신건강에 부적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청년의 물질적 박탈감이 주관적 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 사회적 지지가 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 청년의 주관적 정신건강 수준 제고를 위해서는 청년의 물질적 박탈상황을 미연에 방지하기 위한 공공정책 및 제도를 보다 강화할 뿐 아니라 사회적 지지수준을 높여 사회적 지지체계를 강화하는 방안이 필요함을 알 수 있었다.
