도덕지능의 초등 도덕교육적 함의 = Moral Intelligence and Its Implications for MoralEducation in Elementary School

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore the psychological, ethical background of moral intelligence and its meanings in elementary moral education. Moral intelligence is the conception that introduced to argue against single and multiple intelligence theories. This conception is focused on moral psychology and the traditions of virtue ethics. In other words, It is focused on the cognitive, emotional, practical spheres in morality.
Moral intelligence is gradually developed through moral imagination. And Stories from directive experiences in real lives as well as stories from the movies, from literature, are resources to can stir and provoke moral imagination.
The teachers in elementary school should be moral model, cultivate the moral imagination of students by providing them with appropriately various resources at the stages of moral development, give the chances of community service for students to have wisdom, which they shall live with others.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구의 목적은 도덕지능의 심리학적, 윤리학적 배경과 그 초등도덕교육적 함의를 탐구하는 것이다. 도덕지능은 기존의 단일지능이론이나 다중지능이론을 비판하며 등장한 개념으로 심리학적, 윤리학적 기초 하에 도덕성의 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 측면을 강조하고 있다.도덕지능은 유아기, 아동기, 청년기를 거치는 동안 도덕적 상상력을 통해 점진적으로 계발되는데 영화나 소설 속의 이야기, 실제 생활에서 직접 경험한 이야기들이 도덕적 상상력을 자극하는 자원들이다.따라서 초등학교 교사들은 아동학생들의 발달단계에 적합한 다양한 자원들을 제공하여 도덕적 상상력을 키우고, 남과 더불어 살아가는 지혜를 갖도록 봉사활동학습의 기회를 부여해야 할 것이다.
