Strain AYGS-17, isolated from sediment of the Nakdong River, exhibits antimicrobial activity. Its complete genome, sequenced using the PacBio Sequel platform, reveals a circular chromosome of 4.1 Mb with a GC content of 46.1%. The genome contains 4,118 genes, including 4,000 coding sequences (CDSs), 86 tRNAs, 27 rRNAs, and 5 ncRNAs. This genomic information provides insight into the genetic basis of the strain’s antibacterial activity.
