A Study of Lee, Chew-Hong's
proletarian literature
-Focus on the period of compulsive occupation of
Japanese imperialism -

This article was written to research the situation and
characteristic of proletarian literature which was published
in the period of compulsive occupation of Japanese
imperialism by Hyangpa Lee, Chew-Hong. In brief, this
article is divided into three parts like following:
First. Lee. Chew-Hong was deeply involved in Proletarian
Literature Movement(PLM) with 『Shinsonyeon. New Boy』.
『Umak gwa Si, Music and Poem』, 『Beolnara, Star Country』
publishing in the magazine for proletarian literature.
Especially, we can see this tendency through publishing
『Bulmyeol, athanasia』, which is a kind of nursery rhymes of
proletarian.
Second. I analyzed 『mission and praxis of musical
movement』 and 『juvenile literature movement for a year』 in
detail, which belong to the criticism of proletarian literature.
Through these works, we can listen to the missions, ways.
and methods of proletarian music and know of criticism from
the juvenile literature works of proletarian to practical art
movements.
Third, in the general. I made a study of works of
proletarian juvenile literature, proletarian novels, and poems.
We can easily recognize that there is a plot which is
developed by focusing on the process which characters are
becoming into some consciousness. In addition, we can see
the ideology lean toward socialism which is taken its rise
from the antagonistic structure of class.
