베이비부머의 초고령사회를 대비한 서비스연계 도시형 노인복지주택에 관한 고찰 - 일본의 서비스형고령자주택을 중심으로 -

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국은 2013년 65세 이상 인구 비중이 고령사회 기준인 14%에 근접했으며 2026년에는 20%를 넘어 초고령사회로 진입할 것으로 전망 된다. 한편 10년 내 노인인구의 구조와 특성에 큰 변화를 일으키는 요인으로 베이비부머의 노인인구 편입을 들 수 있다. 이 같은 사실은 초고령사회를 대비해 베이비부머의 특성과 거주지노화를 기반으로 노인복지주택 개발의 방향성을 정립할 시기가 되었음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 우리나라 베이비부머가 갖는 노인주거의 새로운 요구점을 파악하고, 일본의 서비스형고령자주택 사례들을 분석해 초고령사회를 대비한 서비스연계 도시형 노인복지주택의 방향성과 방안을 제시하고자 했다. 분석의 결과 일본의 서비스형고령자주택은 노인의 거주지노화와 삶의 질을 위해 여러 측면에서의 가치들를 내포하고 있었으며 서비스연계 도시형 노인주택에 관한 본 연구는 한국형 노인복지주택의 개발을 위한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

In 2026, it is estimated that Republic of Korea enters the Super-Aged Society, which means the people over 65 years old reach 20% among total population. Meanwhile, the factor that causes a significant change in the structure and the nature of the aging population within 10 years should be the baby-boomers incorporated in the elderly population. This fact suggests that it is time to establish the direction of development of the elderly welfare homes based on the characteristics of the baby boomers and on the aging-in-place concept to prepare a Super-Aged society. This study was to suggest the new directions of the urban elderly welfare homes linked to services through the needs of baby-boomers to elderly housing and through the analysis four cases of Japanese Service Elderly Housing(JSEH). As a result, the JSEH has many benefits to the aging-in-place and good quality of life for the aged. This study about urban elderly welfare home linked to services is expected to provide a implication in developing elderly housing of Korea.
