본 연구는 근감소증 노인을 대상으로 앉은 상태에서 일어서기(sit-to-stand, STS) 동작 시 체간의 움직임과 체중심(Center of Mass, CoM) 이동 특성을 분석하였다. 실험방법은 근감소증 노인 1명, 건강한 노인 3명 및 성인 3명을 대상으로 3차원 동작분석시스템을 이용하여 STS 동작을 비교하였다. 연구결과, 근감소증 노인은 건강한 노인보다 STS 동작수행 시간이 1.6배 길었으며, seat off 시점도 6% 지연되었다. 또한 약화된 근력을 보상하기 위해 STS 동작 시 체간의 반동을 이용함으로서 체간의 전체가동범위, 최대 굴곡각도 및 최대 굴곡 각속도가 건강한 노인보다 증가하였다. 특히 근감소증 노인의 수직 CoM 변위는 313mm로써 건강한 노인보다 31% 증가하였다. 수직 CoM 변위의 증가는 에너지 효율성의 감소와 함께 낙상 위험성을 증가시킬 것으로 사료되며, 본 연구결과는 향후 근감소증 환자의 로봇보조장치 개발, 재활훈련 및 기능적 평가를 위한 기초자료로써 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to analyzed the features of trunk movement and the center of mass in the elderly with sarcopenia during sit-to-stand(STS) motion. This study was conducted on an elderly with sarcopenia, 3 healthy elderly and 3 adults and analyzed the STS motion using a 3D motion analysis system. In this results, we found that an elderly with sarcopenia had the STS motion time 1. 6 times longer than healthy elderly, and the seat off timing was 6% delayed. In addition, an elderly with sarcopenia had increased full ROM, maximum flexion angle and angular velocity of trunk as using the rapid bending trunk motion for compensation of muscle weakness, and especially, the vertical CoM displacement of the sarcopenia was 313mm, which was 31% higher than that of the health elderly. The increase in vertical CoM displacement is expected to increase the risk of falls with decreasing energy efficiency. This study results can be used as basic data related to development of the robot assistive device, rehabilitation training and functional assessment of the elderly patients with sarcopenia.
