침산(枕山) 이수인(李洙仁)의 삶과 시세계에 대하여 = A Study on the Life and Poetry of Chimsan Lee Soo in

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 침산 이수인의 학문과 사상을 본격적으로 연구하기 위한 스케치를 목적으로 한다. 『枕山隨錄』은 필사본 자료로 남아 있다. 모두 8권으로, 그 안에 詩는 302수, 挽詩 200수, 書 56편, 序 16편, 記 15편, 跋文 7편, 說 6편, 論 6편, 通文 5편, 箴 2편, 銘 9편, 贊 6편, 上樑文 5편, 行狀 5편, 傳 3편, 墓碣銘 8편, 祭文 46편, 告由文 13편, 雜著 8편 등을 수렴해놓았고, 부록으로 枕山에 대한 輓詞, 祭文, 行狀, 墓銘, 訃告錄 등을 수록해놓았다.
침산을 이해하기 위하여 그의 학문적 논의와 역사의식, 독립운동의 사적을 먼저 고찰할 것이 요구된다. 그러나 이 논문은 침산의 정감세계에 주목하여 다루고자 한다. 가능한 한 침산의 행적과 연계된 시를 중심으로 다루어서, 시를 통해 그의 정감이 구체성을 띠도록 하고자 하였다. 침산의 삶을 온전하게 복원하기는 쉽지 않다. 그러나 텍스트가 보여주는 궤적을 좇아가도록 노력하였다. 이를 통하여 그의 연보를 간략하게 제시할 수 있었다. 아울러 그의 시세계를 세 가지로 나누어 살펴보았다. 그의 시는 독서와 산과 詠物을 주요한 키워드로 창작되었다. 이를 통해 침산의 시세계는 독서를 통하여 지식인으로서의 자질을 추구하였고, 산을 통해 공간을 의지화하였으며, 마음을 세우고 행실을 제어하며 학문적 실천을 도모했다고 파악하였다. 끝으로 침산이 근현대를 살면서 어떻게 살아야 할 것인지를 시를 통하여 차근하게 추구해나갔다고 확인하였다. 이 연구는 차후 침산의 학문적 지향과 실천을 이해하는 데에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to study Lee Soo-in's studies and ideas in earnest. 『枕山隨錄』 remains as a manuscript. In total, there are 8 volumes, including 詩302, 挽詩200, 書56, 序16, 跋文15, 說7, 論6, 通文5, 箴2, 銘9, 贊6, 上樑文5, 行狀5, 傳3, 墓碣銘8, 祭文46, 告由文13, 雜著8, and 輓詞, 祭文, 行狀, 墓銘, 訃告錄. In order to understand Chimsan, it is required to first consider his academic discussion, historical consciousness, and historical history of the independence movement, but this paper focuses on the sentimental world of Chimsan. As far as possible, this study deals with the poems linked to the activities of Chimsan, and through the poems, his feelings are concrete. It is not easy to restore the life of Chimsan completely. However, this study tried to follow the trajectory of the text, and through this, it was able to briefly present his annals, and also examined his poetic world in three categories. His poems were created with the main keywords of reading, mountain, and songs about things. Through this, the poetic world of Chimsan pursued the qualities as an intellectual through reading, changed the mountain into a willful space, and set up a mind, controlled the behavior and promoted academic practice. Finally, it was confirmed that Chimsan pursued the modern and modern life and how to live it through poetry. This study is expected to contribute to understanding the academic orientation and practice of Chimsan in the future.
