포스트모더니즘과 코스모폴리타니즘 패션경향에 관한 고찰 = Fashion Trend in Post-Modernism and Cosmopolitanism

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현대 패션디자인 경향을 예술사적으로 접근하였다. 이름 위해 20세기 예술 사조를 대표하는 포스트모더니즘의 관점에서 새션경향을 분석해 보았다. 이에 따라 포스트모더니즘의 전반적인 경향과 패션의 경향을 비교 분석하고, 나아가 패션에 있어서의 포스트모더니즘을 분석하는 틀을 제시하였다. 이에 따라 포스트모더니즘을 네가지 경향으로 구분하였다. 첫째, 문화권 내부의 권력구조를 파괴하여 성별, 계층별 세대별, 인종간 조화를 추구하는 패션경향이다. 둘째, 문화권 간의 경계의 파괴하여 이 문화 간의 조화를 추구하는 패선경향이다. 셋째, 과거와 현재를 조화하는 패션경향이다. 넷째 자연과 과학을 조화하는 패션경향이었다. 특히 포스트모더니즘의 이문화간 조화가 보다 활발해지면 크스모폴리탄 패션경향으로 발전하게 된다. 따라서 코스모폴리타니즘은 현대 패션경향의 다원성을 대표하는 부분이다. 이러한 경향을 파악하기 위해 본 연구에서는 서구 중심의 에스닉이 코스모폴리타니즘으로 확장되어지는 과정을 분석해 보았다. 이를 위해 서구 복식에 에스닉이 가미되는 과정을 살펴 보았다. 코스모폴리타니즘 패션경향을 탐색적으로 제시하기 위해 오뜨꾸띄르의 대표 디자이너인 크리스찬 디오르와 지방시의 작품을 분석하여 서양의 에스닉과 서구적 패션이 혼합된 작품, 동양의 에스닉과 서구의 패션이 혼합된 작품 그리고 동양 및 서양의 에스닉과 서구적 패션이 혼합된 작품들을 구분하여 제시하였다.

This study approached the tendency of the fashion design art-historically. Especially it analyzed the tendency of fashion at a view point of the post-modemism which representatives the artistic trends of 20th century. The study suggested the framework that analyzes the post-modemism in fashion. Post-modemism in fashion can be divided four trends. First one is the fashion trend for hmmony of sex, social class, generation, human race in the same culture. Second trend is the multi ethnic that matches the diverse cultures. Third one is retro trend that ham10nizes past and present. Fourth is the fashion trend that hmmonizes ecology and technology. The second trend, multi ethnic, can be developed to more sophisticate phenomenon. It is the cosmopolitanism trend. In this sense, cosmopolitanism represents the pluralism of the resent fashion trend. To show fashion trend of cosmopolitanism, representative designer``s works were analyzed. The works by Christian Dim and Givenchy were classified three categories. The first is combination of westem ethnic and western fashion. The second is combination of oriental ethnic and western fashion. The third is westem, oriental ethnic and western fashion.
