This thesis draft is a study of Geumnam collection. The one is Geumnam(1864？`?)Sangbeom Kim's poems of collection of writing. Geumnam is a person who was active in Cheongju district in 19th century. In Cheongju district in 19th century, there was a great variety of people who would be active. These most writing people had lived this place who were Chigyu Song․Hunhoi Im․ Woo Jeon․Ikhyun Choi. Especially Uiseop Song․Jinyeong O․Sawoo Kim․Kwangmo Jeong․Ikseong Kim․Hakmo Gu․Rojung Park․Woo Jeon and so on, the writers were lots of here, but some went far away distant area and would study science.
Therefore this abstract intended to view about Sangbeom Kim who was active in late 19th century, at first as the first work which is studying in the literature of writing people who was active in Cheongju district. First, in order to consider the contents and formation background of the Geumnam Collection, I searched the Gyeongju Kim's world and Sangbeom Kim's life, and through these, I searched to know the piece contents of Geumnam Collection which left by him and then subsequently I examined the work world of Geumnam Collection.
