    The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of Kata as the link of inherit method as part of Japanese practice method, and the uniqueness of training system that are applied on Japanese martial arts. The results are shown below. Firstly, practicing of Kata in Japanes martial arts, stands for both technique and World of mentality. It is an accumulation of technique and mental method. Secondly, Keiko(稽古) emphasis on repetitive practice of Kata in order to gain the result of accuracy in technique and mental training. Thirdly, puting Kata as the center of the martial arts training, Soo-Pa-Ri`s training process is a description of the stages from basic to stage of master. Forthly, by applying Zen practice method, Kyung-Suep-Sool-Do presents the different stages from entering the school to the self-realization(master) stage, which emphasizes on not just learning of technique, but mental training as well.
