협력과 공존

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정부간 갈등과 협력에 초점을 두고 시작되었다. 연구의 목적에 따라 세가지 질문을 던질 수 있다. 첫째, 정부간 갈등사례는 어떤 형태로 존재하는가? 둘째, 정부간 갈등의 발생원인은 무엇인가?, 셋째, 정부간 갈등해결을 위한 대안은 무엇인가? 질문에 답하기 위하여 정부간 갈등사례를 정리하고 원인과 해결방안을 제시하기 위하여 노력하였다. 주요 연구활동 및 성과로는 연구논문, 저서출판, 갈등 DB 구축, 학술지 발간, 갈등 연구를 위한 MOU체결, 연구인프라 구축, 국제학술대회 개최 등이다. 본 연구의 결과물은 학문적으로는 갈등연구의 방향을 제시하고, 정책적으로는 갈등해결방안을 위한 인프라로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 연구진의 역량강화와 갈등전문인력양성, 갈등관리 교육에도 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research team has begun to address questions on inter-governmental conflicts and collaboration. There are three research questions : what is the types of inter-governmental conflicts? Why occur inter-governmental conflicts? What is alternatives to resolve them? In order to answer these questions, we have collected a variety of conflict cases and analyzed their causes, issues, stakeholders, processes, and ends. We had also made efforts to find efficient and democratic alternatives for resolving governmental conflicts that may be different from the traditional conflict management methods of power and rights.

The main research activities and results are as follows: producing academic research papers, publishing translations and journals, building conflict data-base and the map for public conflicts, signing MOUs with relevant agencies and institutions for network development, building research infrastructure, and holding national and international conferences on conflict research.

This research team would have expectations from our activities to the following effects : contributing to academic development, searching for relevant conflict management and resolution processes to our society, building policy infrastructure for conflict resolution, training experts on conflict
