교사의 ICT 활용에 대한 학생의 수업인식 구조관계분석 = Teacher ICT use and its influence on students’ perceived learning: A structural analysis

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to structurally explore the impact of teachers' use of ICT on students' perceived teaching competencies of teachers, their understanding of learning, and learning attitude, comparing Korean, English, and mathematics subject areas. For the study, the 2nd year data of teachers, students, and school from Busan Education Longitudinal Study was used and structural equation modeling was employed for analysis. The analysis was performed after matching teacher responses on their ICT use and student responses on perceived teaching competencies of teachers, their understanding of learning, and learning attitude. Results showed that 1) teachers' capability for and level of ICT use influenced students' perceived teaching competencies of teachers only in English; 2) teachers' capability for and level of ICT use had an impact on students' understanding of learning and their learning attitude in English and mathematics, and especially in English, it was mediated by students' perceived teaching competencies of teachers; 3) students' perceived teaching competencies of teachers affected students' understanding of learning and their learning attitude in all three subject areas. This study confirms differences between three subject areas regarding teachers' ICT use and students' perceived teaching competencies of teachers, which results in differences in students' understanding and learning attitude.
