인터넷 자기효능감과 인터넷 정보격차의 관계에 관한 연구 = 부모와 자녀를 중심으로

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Most research on the digital divide has focused on socio-demographic correlates. This paperstudied the relationship between Internet self-efficacy and Internet digital divide because an individual and psychological aspect can be a important factor causing digital divide. Especially, parents-children groups were chosen for study, based on the importance of family. 137 parents-children participated in the study.
The study result indicate there was strong link between Internet self-efficacy and Internet digital divide. The higher the gap of Internet self-efficacy between parents and children, the higher the gap of Internet capability index and utilization index. Moreover, Internet self-efficacy had the strongest influence on the Internet utilization index than other socio-demographic factors. The study result indicate that improvement of Internet self-efficacy may be an effective method for closing Internet digital divide.
