차세대이동통신 서비스의 사업성 분석 = Economic Analysis for Next Generation Wireless Communication Services

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 향후 국내에서 전개될 차세대이동통신 즉, IMT-2000 서비스의 사업성을 분석하며, 투자비 산출을 위해 IMT-2000 망 구성요소를 추출하고 각 구성요소별 설비물량을 구한다. 이를 위해 IMT-2000 가입자의 기준트래픽 및 기지국의 용량을 수율(throughput)의 단위로 평가하여 기지국의 소요물량을 산출하고 2세대 이동통신 시스템의 종단용량을 기준으로 핵심망 부문의 설비물량을 구한다. 회선과 패킷교환 서비스의 비을 변화에 빠른 가입자의 기준트래픽 및 기지국의 용량을 분석하고 이를 토대로 무선접속부문의 투자비를 산출하며 각 기지국 유형별 사업성을 비교, 분석한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, the economics for the next generation wireless communication (IMT-2000) services are analyzed. To estimate the investment cost, the network elements in the IMT-2000 are first classified, and required amount of each network element are calculated. Based on the reference traffic and the capacity of base station in unit of throughput (kbps) defined in the ITU, the amount of equipments for radio access network are evaluated. Then, the number of facilities in core network are computed by using the terminating capacity in the 2＾(nd) generation mobile communication network. The sensitivity analysis for the economics is carried out varying the service ratio for circuit and packet services.
