Especially, negative phenomena during the under stage of Joseon Dynasty downward to ending point centering on Imjinwaeran[Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592] were serious. The author[or scribe] wanted to hand down messages in his own words. That when the king and his subjects can't keep their fundamental rules and perform their own business, country is be confused, that when they indulge in carnal pleasures or greed, people fall into extreme distress, that when the order of social status is collapsed, country is in turmoil and peoples are locked in struggle, etc. This work is the result that the writer as an intellectual spoke what he wanted to say about defunct dynasty. As it were, the writer expressed his desire to denounce those days' irrationality to his hearts content. With harshly criticizing the irrationality of the individual king's age, he is emphasizing that the irrationality's root is so deep and distant. The writer gave a new title 'Gungjung'dohoega' to the last part, after cutting out the half of the work described the period of 500 years or more with 6000 phrases or more. The reason why the writer did like it was his desire to give his clear message to the people. The significance of its existence is in this point. In the point that it is a part of the original text, this written text is clearly a different version, in the point that he omitted over than half from the original text, it is obvious a problematic version. Moreover, he copied not different contents from the original text in Gyeongsangdo dialects, it is an evidence how big his desire to make it his own property was. Gungjung'dohoega read as 'a song deplored Joseon Dynasty's glory disappeared to collapse' can be said as a good example to show how Gasa genre accepted to the people of those days than a simple written text.
