사선대 관광지 재조성 계획 = Redevelopment Plan for the Saseon-dae Tourist Resort

This planned area is Saseon-dae(四仙臺, the place where has a legend that four wizards played at) tourist resort located in the whole area of Kwanchon-myeon, Imshil-gun, and a total area is 166,000㎡(50,215 pyeong). It is the pre-enforcement stage Ⅱ(Development facilitate stage-tourist resort which has facilities in addition to basic facility) before the management in the current, is evaluated about lack of development, but the residents of Imshil and the surrounding area have high recognition as tourist resort, and it's the tourist resort in the center of Jeollabuk-do geographically, so it's development potential as a tourist resort is very big.
The plan aims to expand the sports facilities to support the healthy recreation activities to the inhabitants of a county and to provide the various recreation facilities and attractions for visitors who visit in the Saseon-dae tourist resort, and to prepare the plan for the vitalizations of tourist resort, so the plan of moving the shopping district & accommodation and the Saseon culture space(traditional garden), multi-purpose lawn, mini golf course, maze space, sculpture parks and neighborhood parks were creating.
As the process of space configuration, the Saseon culture space which gives a impression of Saseon culture, the sports space and education cultural space were connected, and the geographic features of targeted site was reflected. For the introduction activities related to the sports, the sports activity and experience activity were selected, and the cultural activity, viewing activity, cultural experience activity and linked tourism activity were selected for the activities related to the tourism and commemoration by the Saseon culture, sculpture park and neighborhood park.
