`쾌(快)`의 관점에서 본 Issey Miyake의 아비투스와 작품 이미지 분석 = - An Analysis of Habitus and Work Image of Issey Miyake in the Point of View of `Pleasure` -

Fashion designers display Habitus, namely, the self-ego in visual ways on their respective work outcome. This Habitus expresses national background, cultural background, history and society, and accommodation method of culture and artistic willingness of artists.
Issey Miyake (hereinafter, “Miyake”) has combined the traditional culture and art of Japan with the contemporary technology to recreate to fit into the contemporary time to carry out the role to display the beauty and uniqueness of the Japanese culture to the world and he is assessed as a designer with unique fashion philosophy and Habitus. Therefore, this study analyzes the work images of Miyake as expressed with the social and cultural influence for each era and the image of ``Pleasure`` displayed commonly throughout the work has been spotlighted again.
For this purpose, by analyzing the works of Miyake from 1970s to 1990s when he was active as a fashion designer through the bibliographic studies for each chronological era, it created the image of his own to represent each era. As a result, it may be compressed for 3 types of recreation in neutral image, formative image and tradition image. As such, works and philosophy of Miyake is connected to the concept of `Pleasure`. In other word, he led the intrinsic curiosity and interest through various experiments on design and material. In addition, the theme of tradition is expressed in consistent design philosophy with the contraction and control and the `Pleasure` of satisfaction of design and joy for consumers. As such, as a result of analyzing the works of Miyake in the point of view of `Pleasure`, it is concluded in the following three characteristics; first, joy of visual expression as represented for ecstasy, second, amusement through behavior and experience, and third, satisfaction through internal philosophy manifestation.
