This study aims to propose a development plan for grammar activities that enable foreign learners of Business Korean to acquire grammar skills applicable to real-world workplace situations. To achieve this, grammar activities from six currently available Business Korean textbooks were analyzed and compared to identify existing issues, and principles for developing grammar activities suitable for Business Korean were proposed. Chapter 1 presents the purpose and necessity of the study and reviews prior research on Business Korean textbook development and Korean grammar practice to establish the rationale for the study. Chapter 2 outlines the concept, characteristics, and instructional content of Business Korean education to provide a comprehensive understanding and examine the role of grammar learning within this context. Chapter 3 introduces types and analysis criteria for grammar exercises and examines grammar activities in six Business Korean textbooks. The analysis revealed a predominant focus on mechanical practice, a lack of meaningful and communicative exercises, and insufficient linkage between grammar activities and actual business situations. In response, Chapter 4 proposes four principles for the development of grammar activities in Business Korean textbooks and presents an example by selecting a specific grammar point to design practical activities. These activities were applied in class, and interviews were conducted before and after the lessons to collect learner feedback. The results showed that learners perceived stepwise grammar practice— moving from mechanical to meaningful and communicative—as more effective in internalizing the target grammar. Moreover, they reported increased confidence in applying the grammar in professional contexts when the activities were clearly related to business settings. Chapter 5 summarizes the significance and limitations of the study and provides suggestions for future research.
