Basin Boundary Metamorphosis and Dimension Change in 1-Dimensional Model Map = 1차원 모델 Map에서의 유인영역경계 변형과 유인영역경계 차원의 변화

국문 초록 (Abstract)

많은 동력학계는 쪽거리 유인영역경계를 가지며, 쪽거리 유인영역경계를 갖는 동력학계의 최종 상태는 초기 조건에 민감한 의존성을 보인다. 본 연구에서, 우리는 계의 매개변수가 변화함에 따라 부드러운 유인영역경계가 쪽거리 유인영역경계로 변형되는 과정(smooth-fractal basin boundary)과 쪽거리 유인영역경계가 특성이 다른 새로운 쪽거리 유인영역경계로 변형되는 과정(fractal-fractal basin boundary)을 1차원 사상(map) 모델을 세워 설명하고, 그에 수반된 유인영역경계 차원의 변화를 해석하였다.

Dynamical system that have fractal basin boundaries show final state sensitivity of the initial conditions. In this work we study how the smooth-fractal basin boundary metamorphosis and fractal-fractal basin boundary metamorphosis occur in 1-dimensional model map as the system parameter varies. We also choose 1-dimensional model map to investigate how the dimension of the basin boundary changes as the system parameter passes through the metamorphosis value.
