This paper explores the Christian teaching-learning process in the digital learning environment (hypertext system), which is attempted to promote the faith of the learner in cognition, affection, and behavior. This holistic faith has not been encouraged enough in the traditional Christian teaching-learning process. In this sense, the development of information communication technology gives us different insightful ways to reflect the prevalent traditional Christian teaching-learning process. It is meaningful for these information technologies to be accepted in Christian education as the useful method of Christian teaching-learning process.
To do so, I suggest that the concept of hypertext as an essential new-media in comparison with the concept of traditional text. The hypertext is distinguished from the traditional text because of its characteristics of 'nonlinearity' and 'interactivity.' This hypertext is helpful for learners to interact more efficiently with educational variations in constructive teaching-learning process.
Here I present a concrete model of hypertext system of Christian teaching-learning process, at which is aimed in correlation between the learning content and method. This model suggests that the learners in digital environment, In which hypertext system is constructed, can be transformed through the relationship of interaction with educational variation, and, as a result, accomplish their growth of faith in the dimensions of cognition, affection, and behavior. I expect that the hypertext system is able to raise the efficiency of Christian teaching-learning process by maximizing it.
